Before you begin

What is included in the £110 commission?
One bespoke A3 portrait for up to three people, two initial design directions, one refinement to the selected direction, a digital proof for approval and one unframed A3 fine-art print.
How long will my portrait take?
Your two initial design directions will be prepared within up to 5 working days once payment, a suitable photograph and the information needed to begin have been received. After you approve the final proof and the portrait is dispatched, delivery normally takes 3–6 working days.
What if I am unsure whether my photograph will work?
Use Check My Photograph First. Zoë can assess the visible detail and let you know whether the image is a strong starting point before you pay.
Will I approve the portrait before it is printed?
Yes. You choose one of two initial directions, use the included refinement if needed and approve the final digital proof before printing.
Can I cancel my commission?
You may request cancellation before personalised design work begins. Once Zoë has started creating your design, the order cannot be cancelled because it is made specifically for you. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Will my photograph or finished portrait be shared publicly?
No—not without your separate permission. Photographs are supplied privately to assess and create the commission. Any later request to share the finished portrait is optional.
